Five Base Camp Trek Itinerary

The Five Base Camp Trek is an extraordinary adventure that takes trekkers to the base camps of five of the most iconic peaks in the Karakoram Range: K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, and Chogolisa. This extended trek provides an unparalleled opportunity to explore the dramatic landscapes, remote glaciers, and towering summits that define the Karakoram.

  • Day 1: Welcome to Pakistan (Islamabad overnight). 500-M Hotel
  • Day 2: Flight to Skardu, subject to weather; drive to Chilas (12-13 hrs). 1200 Hotel
  • Day 3: Free day in Skardu for preparation and sightseeing. Hotel
  • Day 4: Drive to Askoli by Jeep (6-7 hrs). Camp
  • Day 5: Trek from Askoli to Jhola (5-6 hrs). Camp
  • Day 6: Trek to Paiju (6-7 hrs). Camp
  • Day 7: Rest day at Paiju for acclimatization. Camp
  • Day 8: Trek to Khoburtse (5-6 hrs). Camp
  • Day 9: Trek to Urdukas (4-5 hrs). Camp
  • Day 10: Trek to Goro II (6-7 hrs). Camp
  • Day 11: Trek to Concordia (4-5 hrs). Camp

  • Day 27: Fly to Islamabad (or drive to Chilas). Hotel
  • Day 28: Drive to Islamabad. Hotel
  • Day 29: Debriefing and onward departure. Fly Out

  • RECOMMENDATION: We recommend our clients to deposit helicopter rescue aviation deposit in advance $5000/- the entire money is refundable if not used. In case any emergency happens on a remote mountain range, then we fly a helicopter on time to save lives.
  • TRAVEL INSURANCE: It is strongly recommended that while booking treks and tours with us, travelers/trekkers must be protected by insurance themselves that covers cancellation, accidents, health, emergency evacuation, and loss of items, or damage to baggage and personal effects.
