K2 Base Camp Trek Itinerary
The K2 Base Camp Trek is one of the most iconic and demanding trekking routes in the world. This epic journey leads adventurers to the base of the second-highest mountain on Earth, K2, towering at 8,611 meters. The trek follows the Baltoro Glacier, passing through the heart of the Karakoram Range, offering breathtaking views of some of the world's most renowned peaks such as Broad Peak, Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, and Masherbrum

Day 1: Arrival in Islamabad, briefing, and sightseeing
- Briefing at the Ministry of Tourism followed by sightseeing in Islamabad.

Day 2: Drive to Chilas (Option for flight to Skardu)
- Travel by road to Chilas or fly to Skardu (flight subject to weather conditions).
- Day 3: Drive to Skardu via KKH by air-conditioned coach

Day 4: Rest day / Sightseeing
- A free day in Skardu for rest or sightseeing based on client preferences.
- Day 5: Drive to Askoli (the last village of Braldu) by jeeps
- Day 6: Trek to Jongllah Camp
- Day 7: Trek to Paju Camp
- Day 8: Rest day in Paju Camp
- Day 9: Trek to Urdukas
- Day 10: Trek to Goro-II
- Day 11: Trek to Concordia

- If members wish, they can go to K2 Base Camp with our guide (optional).
- Day 13: Trek back to Goro-II
- Day 14: Trek back to Khuburtze
- Day 15: Trek back to Paju
- Day 16: Trek back to Jongllah Camp
- Day 17: Trek to Askoli village
- Day 18: Drive back to Skardu
- Day 19: Fly to Islamabad or drive to Chilas
- Day 20: Debriefing or drive to Islamabad
- Day 21: Fly out to onward destination (Good Bye)
- Comprehensive airport pickup and drop-off services.
- Round-trip airfare between Islamabad and Skardu.
- Transportation, including briefings, debriefings, and sightseeing.
- Transportation between Skardu, Askoli, Hushe, and Skardu.
- Three nights of accommodation in Islamabad, featuring twin-bed rooms with bed and breakfast provided.
- Three nights of full board accommodation in a Skardu hotel.
- Two nights of full board accommodation in a Chilas hotel.
- Coverage for local staff, encompassing wages, insurance, food, and equipment.
- Support from low porters to transport expedition and trekking equipment, as well as food supplies.
- Allowance for 75 kg of equipment per climbing member on the ascent.
- Allowance for 50 kg of equipment per climbing member on the descent.
- Provision of all trekking and base camp meals.
- Supply of comfortable member tents, mess tents, kitchen tents, storage tents, office tents, shower tents, toilet tents, tables, chairs, and kitchen utensils.
- Assistance with reconfirming international flight tickets.
- Coverage of all camping fees, road taxes, and bridge crossing fees.
- Supply of low porters' equipment.
- Documentation and climbing permit.
- Management fees for CKNP West.
- Royalty fees and additional member fees.
- Kit allowance, food, and flight fare for the liaison officer.
- Availability of an electric generator/solar system at the base camp.
- Heating system at the base camp.
- Personal trekking gear (trekking boots, clothing, walking poles, sleeping bags, backpacks, etc.).
- Travel insurance (must cover trekking activities and emergency evacuation).
- Visa fees, passport processing, and immigration-related costs.
- Meals and accommodation outside the trek (e.g., in Islamabad, Skardu, or other cities before and after the trek).
- Tips for guides, porters, and support staff.
- Personal medications, first-aid kits, and health-related supplies.
- Satellite phone rental, personal communication devices, or optional high-tech equipment.
- Alcohol, soft drinks, snacks, or any non-essential personal consumables.
- Any unforeseen expenses such as flight delays, additional transportation, or extra accommodation costs.
- Extra oxygen supplies or high-altitude equipment beyond what is provided by the trek organizers.
- Emergency evacuation by helicopter (unless required due to health issues and covered by insurance).
- Extended stays in Skardu or Islamabad due to delays, weather conditions, or logistical issues.
