Pastor Base Camp Trek Itinerary

The Pastore Base Camp Trek is an exhilarating adventure that takes trekkers deep into the Karakoram Range, offering close encounters with the spectacular mountains of Gasherbrum I, Gasherbrum II, and K2. The trek follows the Baltoro Glacier before branching off to the hidden and serene Pastore Base Camp, an ideal spot for acclimatization and exploration. This trek is perfect for those who want to experience the grandeur of the Karakoram without attempting the full K2 Base Camp route.

  • Day 1: Welcome to Pakistan (Islamabad overnight). 500-M Hotel
  • Day 2: Flight to Skardu, subject to weather; drive to Chilas (12-13 hrs). 1200 Hotel
  • Day 3: Free day in Skardu for preparation and sightseeing. Hotel
  • Day 4: Drive to Askoli by Jeep (6-7 hrs). Camp
  • Day 5: Trek from Askoli to Jhola (5-6 hrs). Camp
