Trango Tower Itinerary

Trango Tower, situated 32 km southwest of Skardu and accessible via the Satpara Lake, is an extensive high-altitude plateau with an average elevation of 3,500 meters (11,660 feet). Stretching across 70 km, it serves as a crucial connection between Baltistan and the Astore Valley.

  • Day 1: Arrival at Islamabad & Transfer to hotel.
    • Arrive in Islamabad and transfer to hotel. Afternoon briefing at the Ministry of Tourism followed by sightseeing.
  • Day 2: Drive to Chilas
    • Drive from Islamabad to Chilas, overnight at hotel.
  • Day 3: Drive to Skardu
    • Drive from Chilas to Skardu, overnight at hotel.
  • Day 4: Rest day or sightseeing in Skardu
    • Free day for local exploration or sightseeing in Skardu.
  • Day 5: Drive to Askole by jeep
    • Drive by jeep from Skardu to Askole. Overnight camping.
  • Day 6: Trek to Jula
    • Trek from Askole to Jula. Overnight camping.
  • Day 7: Trek to Paju
    • Trek from Jula to Paju. Overnight camping.
  • Day 8: Paju rest day
    • Rest day for acclimatization and preparation for the next stage of the trek. Overnight camping.
  • Day 9: Trek to the Base Camp of Trango Tower
    • Trek from Paju to the base camp of Trango Tower. Overnight camping.
  • Day 10-24: 14 days for climbing
    • Spend the next 14 days for climbing activities at the base camp and higher camps.
  • Day 25: Trek back to Paju
    • Trek from the base camp back to Paju. Overnight camping.
  • Day 26: Trek to Jula
    • Trek from Paju to Jula. Overnight camping.
  • Day 27: Trek to Askole and drive to Skardu
    • Trek from Jula to Askole, then drive back to Skardu. Overnight at hotel.
  • Day 28: Drive to Chilas
    • Drive from Skardu to Chilas, overnight at hotel.
  • Day 29: Drive to Islamabad
    • Drive from Chilas to Islamabad, overnight at hotel.
  • Day 30: Debriefing with Ministry of Tourism
    • Debriefing with Ministry of Tourism in Islamabad, overnight at hotel.
  • Day 31: Transfer to airport, Goodbye
    • Transfer to Islamabad airport for your flight out. End of services.
  • Transportation:
